Our next game is against Brighton at home.

After a run of tough games against teams mainly towards the top of the division we find ourselves a couple of results off the relegation zone with an unsettled team, plenty of injuries and the rumblings of discontent amongst the fans.

The good news is that we've got a home game against a team that has struggled almost as much as us. Brighton are on the same points total (37) but are 8 goals better off than us.

The bad news is that they are coming off a good win against a much-improved Leeds side and will be confident they can score against our leaky defence which is conceding an average of three goals a game recently.

A must-win game? Not necessarily, but a win would go a long way to repairing confidence whilst a loss will probably see toys exiting prams like there's no tomorrow.

I have to believe we will win this. If we score first I think we can win by a couple or three. If they score first I think we'll eventually scrape a single goal victory.

Here are some statistics to help make your minds up on the match outcome!

The last 5 meetings between Bolton and Brighton:
Brighton 2-1 Bolton
Bolton 0-2 Brighton
Brighton 3-1 Bolton
Bolton 1-0 Brighton
Brighton 1-1 Bolton

Last 5 Brighton results (Championship):
Brighton 2-0 Leeds
Brighton 4-3 Birmingham
Sheff Weds 0-0 Brighton
Cardiff 0-0 Brighton
Brighton 2-3 Notts Forest

My prediction: 1-1

How do you all feel we will do?

Do you feel that it will be another shameful defeat?

After being thrashed by Dougie's Forest away from home and all the injuries we have, I can't see us even getting a point from this game!

Middlesbrough are currently sitting in 2nd place with 60 points whilst Bolton are still stuck in the bottom half of the Championship table with 37 points and in 18th position.

Here are some statistics to help make your minds up on the match outcome!

The last 5 Middlesbrough results (Championship):
Middlesbrough 0-1 Leeds
Birmingham 1-1 Middlesbrough
Blackpool 1-2 Middlesbrough
Middlesbrough 3-1 Charlton
Brentford 0-1 Middlesbrough

The last 5 meetings between both teams:
Bolton 1-2 Middlesbrough
Bolton 2-2 Middlesbrough
Middlesbrough 1-0 Bolton
Bolton 2-1 Middlesbrough
Bolton 4-1 Middlesbrough

My prediction: Boro 2-0 Bolton

After our unfortunate loss against Watford at home last week (3-4), our next game is against Nottingham Forest at the City Ground.

Forest were on a slippery run until their then manager Stuart Pearce was relieved of his duties and replaced by the only recent ex Bolton manager Dougie Freedman!

All Bolton fans eyes will be on this game as they hope their team will come away with a win and show Dougie Freedman where he went wrong with his tactical games such as 'Dougie Bingo' and his 'youth player lies'!

Here are the results of the last 5 meetings between both teams:

Bolton 2-2 Forest
Bolton 1-1 Forest
Forest 3-0 Bolton
Forest 1-1 Bolton
Bolton 2-2 Forest

The last 5 Forest results:

Blackpool 4-4 Forest (Under Freedman)
Forest 3-0 Wigan (Under Freedman)
Brighton 2-3 Forest (Under Freedman)
Forest 0-1 Millwall
Fulham 3-2 Forest

I think that the Bolton players will feel that they have a point to prove against their ex manager but also Forest will have that new manager syndrome so can see this as a bit of a high tempo match.

I feel that there will be a few goals but the match out come will be a draw.

My prediction: Forest 2-2 Bolton
