Bolton Wanderers have finally secured the services of Tim Ream from New York Red Bulls in the USA. The International defender is a team mate of Stuart Holden for the USA and the Bolton star is excited to have Ream coming to the Reebok.
The Wanderers and Ream have been battling for a number of days to make sure 'red tape' didn't get in the way of his 2.5 million pound transfer. Ream will provide extra cover in the centre of defence now that Gary Cahill has moved to Chelsea. 

Another MLS player, Seb Le Toux, has flown back to his club in America after a brief trial with Wanderers. It remains unclear whether the striker is still in contention for a move to Bolton.

Remi Mareval could be set to sign a three year deal with Bolton Wanderers if Owen Coyle's £600,000 bid is accepted.
The 28 year old French defender currently plays in Belgium with Zulte-Waregem.

Rodrigo Moreno is not for sale at any price according to Benfica's president. The young attacker played a season on loan at the Reebok but Bolton have been been thwarted in their attempts to resign the youngster. 

Bolton Wanderers are keen on Leeds United midfielder Adam Clayton. The young playmaker is also being watched by Wigan. Bolton would have to pay around £2 million to secure his services.

Tim Ream is set to sign for Bolton and the deal should be announced this week. Ream currently plays for New York Red Bulls in the USA. He is also an international team mate of Stuart Holden. The deal will be completed as long as paperwork goes through quickly.

Bolton Wanderers stuttered across the finish line in a rather forgettable game at the Reebok tonight. Bolton took the lead early on through Kevin Davies and doubled their advantage when Martin Petrov scored mid way into the first half. But that is as good as it got for Bolton as the score remained 2-0 to see the whites through into round four of the FA Cup.
Macclesfield were arguably the better side in the second half but overall Adam Bogdan had little to do in the Bolton goal. Macclesfield's supporters may well have gone away happier than their Bolton counterparts. Indeed the Wanderers team left the pitch to a round of boo's after a rather lifeless display.

Bolton Wanderers have finally lost the services of influential defender, Gary Cahill. Cahill has made the switch to Chelsea in a deal thought to be worth around £7 million pounds to Bolton Wanderers.
Gary Cahill would have been available to leave for free at the end of the current season had Chelsea not stepped in to buy him from under the noses of other potential suitors.
The Wanderers are thought to be keen to reinvest the money from the sale quickly during the current transfer window.
