The Whites face second-placed QPR at Loftus Road tonight before a trip to Ipswich on Saturday.
But rather than fear those tough games, the in-form Liverpudlian goes into them keen to show the belief is back at the Reebok after their 7-1 Reading humbling 10 days ago.
Danns said: “We have got some really tough games coming up, but these are the games you want to play in.
“This week is a big week for us with the games at QPR and Ipswich.
“If we can get a couple of good results then you can see light at the end of the tunnel.
“They (QPR) have got some fantastic quality at the club.
“You only have to look at the subs bench to see that.
“We are under no illusions it is going to be a tough game. We know the league is our bread and butter and we have to carry on with the passion and shape we had against Cardiff.”
Danns could be joined in the squad this week by new faces with boss Dougie Freedman keen to strengthen his options before Friday’s transfer deadline.
And he believes new blood can inject freshness into any team.
He added: “You have teams like Man United and Chelsea bringing in new players and we definitely need help.
“It freshens the team up and new players give a different dynamic to the side.
“If the gaffer chooses to bring in one or two, it will benefit all of us.”
